This explains what Bulwark Trades collects when you use this website or call us, why we collect it, who else can see it, and how to get it removed. It is written to be read, not to be impressive.

This site belongs to Bulwark Home Services Inc., which operates as Bulwark Trades, a licensed contractor at 720 Industrial Blvd Ste 500, Grapevine, TX 76051. You can reach us on (972) 440-5366 or at scott@bulwarktrades.com.
When you submit the request form on this site, we collect the fields you fill in: your name, phone number, email address, the property address, the type of service you need, the property type, and whatever you write in the details box. The address is required because a technician cannot be dispatched without one.
When you call us, we collect what you tell us on the phone, and the phone number you called from.
When you submit the form we also record, alongside your message:
gclid, gbraid,
wbraid) and campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium,
utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) if they were
present in the link you arrived on.Those advertising identifiers exist so we can tell which adverts produce real work. They are not used to build a profile of you and they are not shared with anyone other than the advertising platform that issued them.
This site sets a small number of first party cookies. They are written when you arrive and read only when you submit the form:
| Cookie | Purpose | Life |
|---|---|---|
bulwark_gclid, bulwark_gbraid, bulwark_wbraid |
Remembers the Google Ads click that brought you here, so a form submitted three pages later is still attributed to the right advert. | 90 days |
bulwark_utm_source and the other four utm cookies |
Same, for non Google campaigns. | 90 days |
bulwark_referrer |
The site you came from, recorded once on your first page. | 90 days |
bulwark_landing |
The first page of your visit. | 90 days |
None of these identify you personally on their own. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings, and blocking them will not stop the form working.
Our analytics and call tracking providers, listed below, set their own cookies. Those are governed by their policies as well as this one.
We use a call tracking service so that a phone call from an advert can be connected back to that advert. It records the number you called from, the time and length of the call, and which page or advert the number was shown on.
Calls are recorded. We record calls to and from the office so we have an accurate record of what was agreed, and for training. You will be told at the start of the call, and you can ask us not to record and we will stop. Recordings are kept for 12 months and then deleted.
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure how the site is used and which adverts lead to enquiries. These set their own cookies and process data under Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add on.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell or broker your enquiry to other contractors or lead buyers. The technician who arrives works for us. That is a deliberate difference from a large part of this industry and it is a commitment, not a formality.
Only where it is needed to run the business:
Different records run on different clocks:
| Record | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Enquiries and leads that never became a job | 24 months |
| Completed job records, invoices and permits | 10 years |
| Call recordings | 12 months |
| Marketing opt-out list | Indefinitely |
Job records run long because a warranty claim is checked against them, a three year warranty on a repipe has to outlive the paperwork, and permit and tax records carry their own legal retention periods.
The opt-out list is the one thing we keep forever, and we keep it precisely so we can honour the opt-out. If we deleted your record entirely we would have no way of knowing not to contact you again. It holds only what is needed to suppress contact, nothing else.
Ask us to delete sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Whatever state you are in, you can ask us to:
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and residents of other states may have similar rights under their own laws, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising. We honour those requests from anyone who asks, without checking whether the law technically obliges us to.
To make a request, email scott@bulwarktrades.com or call (972) 440-5366. We may need to verify who you are before we act, usually by confirming details of a job or enquiry. We will respond within 45 days. If a request is complicated and we need longer, we will tell you why inside that window and may take up to another 45 days, which is the most Texas law allows.
If you give us your phone number we will use it to reach you about your request, including by text where that is quicker. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell the office. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop us contacting you about a job already booked.
The site is served over HTTPS and submissions are transmitted encrypted. Enquiries are stored in the site database and emailed to our office. Access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will say so on the site rather than rely on you noticing.
